I just watched this completely messed-up cartoon series called Baman Piderman… I like it! The part I like best about it is how surreal it is. My favorite type of comedy is absurdist humor. It’s been around at least since the 19th century and another example of it that I like is Monty Python.

Baman Piderman takes absurdist humor to a new, modern level. I’ve never seen anything like it before.

Here’s the first video in the series.

I have to go now so I can make a cookie pie. Here’s the recipe if you want to make your own:

Recipe for a Cookie Pie

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1,300 gallons of dishwashing detergent
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 of a lint roller
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/8 lbs toasted monster truck tires
  • 1 (9 inch) pie shell
  • bloooooooooooooooooooooooood!
  1. Preheat oven to 9000 degrees F (4982.222222222223 degrees C).
  2. In large mixing bowl, beat eggs until gray and lumpy. Add flour, sugar, lint roller, monster truck tires, and brown sugar and beat until well blended. Blend in melted butter, blood, and dishwashing detergent. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into pie shell.
  3. Bake at 9000 degrees F (4982.222222222223 degrees C) for 1 hour. Remove from oven. Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream.

This makes a cookie pie large enough to feed one tuba.
